If your video follows a character through a story — a customer with a problem, an employee learning a process — Doodly's library is the better fit: around 200 characters, each in 20 poses, plus People Builder for custom characters, all drawn in one consistent style. VideoScribe's library is bigger overall but mixes styles, and AI images vary from scene to scene. For character-driven doodle videos, Doodly wins.

VideoScribe now includes AI script generation, AI image generation and AI voices, with monthly allowances by plan (for example, Core includes 50 AI images, 75 minutes of AI voiceover and 75 minutes of AI script per month). Doodly's product page doesn't list AI features. VideoScribe wins.
