SLP-1: Our SSHE Strategy

Today, we're introducing a program called SLP-1, a focused initiative designed to drive meaningful and lasting improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance across MMG's global operations. SLP-1 brings together five of MMG's key mine sites, each playing a critical role in delivering this strategic program and contributing to a shared vision of improved SSHE performance. The five sites involved in SLP-1 are Dugald River, Khoemacau, Kinsevere, Las Bambas, and Rosebery — each represented here as a distinct node in our connected global network. From every one of these five sites, a bold downward arrow flows, symbolising how each location contributes directly and collectively toward a single, unified strategic goal for the entire organisation. Those arrows all point to MMG's core SSHE Strategy: to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable production and growth by controlling material risks in every single task we undertake. By 2030, SLP-1 aims to deliver a true step change in SSHE performance — continuously improving how MMG protects its people, its communities, and the environment at every site around the world.
