The real lesson is not simply to take huge risks — it is to deeply understand the downside first, and then honestly decide whether the possible upside is truly worth pursuing. The most useful question you can borrow from Musk is this: what do you believe is impossible simply because everyone around you believes it is impossible — because that belief alone is not a reason.
