Start with a clean white page. Lightly sketch the basic almond shape of the eye — two curved lines meeting at each corner. Now define the upper and lower eyelids, giving the upper lid a thicker, bolder curve for depth. Draw a large circle inside for the iris, then a smaller solid circle at its center — that's the pupil. Add curved eyelashes — long sweeping strokes along the upper lid, shorter ones below. Now shade the iris with radial lines from the pupil outward, and darken the pupil completely. Finally, blend soft graphite shadows around the eyelids and corners — your realistic eye is complete!
