Jesus, tired from teaching, fell peacefully asleep. Suddenly, a furious storm struck. Massive waves crashed over the boat as howling wind tore across the sea. The disciples were terrified. They shook Jesus awake, crying, 'Teacher, don't you care that we're going to drown?' Jesus rose, stretched out His hand, and commanded: 'Peace! Be still!'
