Let's talk about the present simple passive. We use this tense when the action matters more than who does it. The focus shifts from the doer to the receiver of the action. The structure is simple: subject plus am, is, or are, plus the past participle. For example, 'the letter is written' or 'the cars are made'. The object becomes the new subject. We use present simple passive for facts, processes, and general truths, like 'rice is grown in Asia'. It keeps sentences neutral when the performer isn't important or known.
