Scariest Mythical Creatures: Nightmarchers

Full transcript

Deep in the misty valleys of Hawaii, legends whisper of ancient warriors who never truly died, forever marching through the dark. They are called the Nightmarchers, ghostly spirits of fallen chiefs and soldiers, bound to walk the same sacred paths each night. You hear them before you see them: the low beat of drums, the glow of torches, and chanting echoing through the night air. Legend says if you ever see them coming, you must never look into their eyes, or you may be taken forever. The only way to survive is to lie face down on the ground, showing respect, and silently praying the spirits pass by. These warriors march to guard sacred land, protecting ancient temples, battlefields, and burial grounds from any living intruder. Even today, locals avoid certain paths at night, for the Nightmarchers still walk — and some say, they are still watching.
