Full transcript

Sikkim is a small state tucked into the eastern Himalayas of northeastern India, bordered by Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and West Bengal, with its capital Gangtok nestled in the south-eastern part of the state. Across its six districts, Sikkim treasures ancient Buddhist monasteries like Rumtek, Ranka, Tashiding, and Dubdi, their pagoda-style rooftops standing proudly against the misty mountain slopes of the region. Beyond the monasteries shimmer crystalline lakes such as Gurudongmar, Tsomgo, Menmecho, and Kartok, cradled beneath snow-capped peaks, inspiring students to search and discover even more hidden names of Sikkim.
