The Last Flame: A Chosen Undead's Sacrifice

Full transcript

Inside the ruined Kiln of the First Flame, the Chosen Undead slowly crosses the cracked stone floor toward Gwyn. Gwyn attacks with terrifying speed, his flaming greatsword tearing through ash and embers. Sparks and burning stone fly as the two warriors clash, until the Chosen Undead finds an opening and delivers a decisive, final strike. Gwyn falls to his knees, his greatsword dropping to the stone, divine light fading as his body collapses into ash and embers. The Chosen Undead stands silently over his remains, then turns toward the enormous First Flame, raises his sword, and steps inside. Everything falls silent. The Chosen Undead is engulfed by the First Flame, an enormous explosion of white-gold fire filling the chamber. His armor and cloak burn away as flames consume him, motionless and accepting his fate. The camera pulls back, revealing the vast Kiln as the light grows blinding, and his silhouette disappears completely inside the First Flame.
