The Stickman Who Appeared in Every Drawing

Full transcript

It started as a silly doodle… just a stickman in the corner, standing beside a little house and a lonely tree. The child walked away, satisfied… but slowly, the stickman turned his head, as if staring straight at whoever was watching. But no matter what I drew, he was always there — in the park, beside the house, even near the sun, standing a little closer each time. I erased him. He vanished for a moment, only to reappear behind the drawn house, waiting silently in the shadows. I tore the pages apart, but he still came back — slowly raising one arm, pointing straight at me. Then I drew myself… right in the center of the page, and the stickman appeared directly behind me, closer than ever before. The lights flickered, the screen went dark for a moment… and when it brightened again, I realized he wasn’t inside the picture anymore — only the stickman remained.
