The simple present tense describes actions that happen regularly, habits, facts, and routines. We use it to talk about things that are always true or happen again and again every day. To form it, we simply use the base verb, like 'play' or 'eat', and add an 's' when the subject is he, she, or it, such as 'she plays' or 'he eats'. We also use simple present for schedules and general truths, like 'the sun rises in the east' or 'trains leave at noon', making everyday communication clear and simple.
