هل كل فعل في اللغة العربية يحتاج إلى مفعول به؟ تعالوا نعرف الإجابة. الفعل اللازم يكتفي بفاعله ولا يحتاج إلى مفعول به، مثل: نامَ الطفلُ؛ نامَ فعل ماضٍ لازم، والطفلُ فاعل مرفوع. أما الفعل المتعدي فلا يكتفي بفاعله، بل يتعداه إلى مفعول به، مثل: قرأَ الطالبُ الدرسَ؛ قرأَ فعل ماضٍ متعدٍ، والطالبُ فاعل مرفوع، والدرسَ مفعول به منصوب. والآن اختبر نفسك: في جملة «جلسَ التلميذُ»، هل الفعل لازم أم متعدٍ؟ فكّر قليلًا، ثم أجب: الفعل لازم؛ لأنه اكتفى بفاعله. وتذكروا: اللازم يكتفي بفاعله، والمتعدي يصل إلى مفعول به. وإلى اللقاء في درس جديد.
