You Can Never Please Everyone

One day, a man and his young son were walking through a traditional village with their donkey, enjoying the warm golden morning together as the father rode proudly on the donkey's back. Nearby villagers immediately stopped, pointed their fingers, and loudly criticized the father for riding while his poor little son had to walk all the way through the dusty streets. Embarrassed, the father quickly climbed off and helped his son onto the donkey instead, but the very same villagers immediately turned around and criticized the boy for being disrespectful to his elderly father. So the father and son decided to both ride the donkey together at the same time, but the villagers gasped and shouted that they had absolutely no mercy for the poor exhausted animal. Finally, they both got off and walked beside the donkey, leading it gently through the village square, but the villagers only laughed even harder and called them the biggest fools they had ever seen. Completely desperate, the man and his son actually tried to carry the donkey on their shoulders, making the whole village burst into laughter, until the father finally smiled and said: no matter what you do, you can never please everyone.
